Is Glacier 3000 worth it in cloudy or bad weather?
Usually better with clearer weather if Peak Walk and the panorama are your main reasons to go. The suspension bridge is not an all-weather fallback.
The operator explicitly makes Peak Walk access weather-dependent. A structure still existing in fog does not mean visitors can use it. Check individual activity availability as well as cable-car service; included activities are not a promise that every feature will be accessible.
Glacier 3000 is not assigned to one of our three hub shortlists, so account for the journey to Col du Pillon when comparing alternatives. The station can be above shallow cloud or inside a deeper layer. The forecast cannot confirm bridge access or distant views.
