Is Grindelwald First worth it in cloudy or bad weather?
Usually better saved for a clearer day if the panorama and Cliff Walk are your main reasons to go. Broken cloud and persistent summit fog are different propositions.
First is an outdoor excursion: the ridge panorama and Cliff Walk lose much of their appeal when the surrounding mountains disappear. The gondola journey can still be enjoyable, but it is not an indoor replacement for the view you came to see.
